I love group travel that gives you the fun of traveling with other people without having every minute of your vacation scheduled. My small group trips are welcoming to solo travelers, couples, and friends, and combine shared experiences with plenty of time to explore, relax, or do your own thing.

This will be a hosted, self-guided walking trip, so you can choose how much you’d like to walk each day. I’ll also offer options for those who want to experience the villages and countryside without walking the full route.

Budapest to Nuremberg | Avalon Waterways
In December 2025, I hosted a Christmas markets river cruise along the Danube, visiting Budapest, Vienna, Melk, Passau, and Nuremberg before continuing on to Munich and Salzburg.
River cruising made it easy to experience several European Christmas markets without constantly changing hotels, and our travelers came from several different states, many meeting for the first time.
This trip was such a success that I’m doing it again in 2027 AND 2028, with a different route and a few new Christmas market destinations.
And you don’t have to join one of my groups to experience Christmas markets by river cruise. I’d be happy to help you find and book the right Christmas market cruise for your own trip, too.
French Polynesia | Windstar
I experienced Windstar’s Dreams of Tahiti cruise firsthand, sailing through French Polynesia aboard one of Windstar’s small ships. The itinerary visits several islands, with plenty of opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, beach time, and exploring ashore.
This trip gave me firsthand experience with both Windstar and this itinerary, and it’s one I’m happy to recommend and book for clients looking for a relaxed, small-ship way to experience Tahiti and the surrounding islands.
France | 2025
I planned this custom Paris and Normandy trip to combine classic sightseeing with a more personal journey into family history.
Our time in Normandy was planned around an 80-year-old traveler whose father had landed there on D-Day. We visited the Normandy beaches, memorials, museums, Omaha Beach, and the American Cemetery, giving her the chance to experience places connected to her father’s history.
It’s a great example of how a custom trip can include the places you’ve always wanted to see while also making room for the places that have a personal connection.

Italy & Mediterranean | 2022
I planned and led the first part of this trip for a group of more than 80 travelers, beginning in Milan and continuing into Piedmont, including a visit to the village where our ancestors came from. We visited Milan’s Duomo, saw da Vinci’s Last Supper, and spent time exploring northern Italy before continuing with a larger group itinerary.
From there, I traveled with the group through Italy and continued on a Mediterranean cruise with stops in Greece and Turkey, including Athens and the ancient ruins of Ephesus.
This trip gave me firsthand experience planning and leading travel for a large group, along with experiencing a combination of land touring and cruising in Europe.

France, Germany & Switzerland | 2024
I hosted this Christmas market trip through France, Germany, and Switzerland, visiting festive cities and smaller towns along the way. Traveling by land gave us the chance to experience several different regions and see how Christmas traditions and markets change from one country to the next.
We spent our days exploring Christmas markets, historic town centers, and villages decorated for the season, with plenty of time for seasonal food, shopping, and enjoying the atmosphere.

Copenhagen to Skagen | 2025
I traveled through Denmark with friends, starting in Copenhagen before taking a road trip through the Danish countryside to Skagen at the northern tip of the country.
We visited Copenhagen favorites including Nyhavn, Rosenborg Castle, and Tivoli Gardens, then traded the city for smaller towns, coastal scenery, and the Danish countryside before reaching Skagen, where the North Sea and Baltic Sea meet.
