Thoughtful Planning, Built Together
I’m planning another Christmas Market river cruise and asking for your help to decide where we will go!

Christmas Market river cruises sell out far in advance, and most of 2026 is already sold out, which means this trip would be planned for 2027. Planning ahead gives us better availability, more flexibility, and the ability to design the right experience instead of rushing into whatever is left.

I’m currently gathering feedback on two trip styles.

One option is a full 7–8 night river cruise, with multiple stops across several countries. You unpack once, wake up in a new city most days, and enjoy a wide variety of Christmas markets with very little logistical effort.

The second option is a shorter river cruise, often more affordable, paired with an optional land add-on afterward. If we choose this route, I would personally host the land portion, traveling with the group and helping coordinate hotels, trains, and transitions.

I’m reviewing itineraries that include Germany, Austria, Budapest, or Prague. Final routing will be based on availability and the preferences you share with me.

Nothing is booked yet. This is the collaborative part of the process, and your input helps shape what this trip becomes.

Note: Solo travelers are always welcome on my trips. In fact, I usually travel solo myself, so please don’t hesitate to join even if you don’t know anyone. You’ll come home with a whole new group of friends.

Who this trip is a great fit for

This experience is a great fit if:

• You’ve always wanted to visit European Christmas markets
• You prefer a relaxed pace without constantly changing hotels
• You value thoughtful planning and guidance
• You enjoy traveling with a small, like-minded group

Solo travelers are always welcome. Cabins are single or double occupancy only, there are no triple or quad accommodations on river cruises. Solo travelers occupy their own cabin and pay the full cabin rate rather than splitting the cost with a roommate.

You do not need to be an experienced traveler to feel comfortable on this trip.

What “personally hosted” means

If we include a land add-on, I would personally host that portion of the trip.

That means I travel with the group, coordinate hotels, trains, and transfers, and help with transitions and questions along the way. You have built-in support without feeling rushed or over-scheduled.

The land add-on would be optional, and details and pricing for the land extension package will be announced later, once the final itinerary is confirmed.

It’s guided support, with plenty of free time built in.
